Core Economic Indicators (February 2008)

Indicator Series Methodology: The Core Economic Indicators (the “CEI”) is a composite of key performance measures designed to monitor the relative health of the local economy. The index includes measures for construction and development activity, consumer spending behavior, tourism-related factors and employment considerations. Each indicator is weighted based on its estimated impacts to the overall economic climate in an effort to provide a meaningful assessment.
